Do easy install squirrel baffles work on shepherd’s hooks?

Will a plastic baffle be as durable as a metal one?
Metal baffles generally last longer and resist chewing, but high-quality polycarbonate or PP plastic can be durable if it is thick enough. The iBorn baffle uses 3mm thick polycarbonate that resists cracking and UV damage. However, for long-term outdoor use, metal remains the more reliable choice.
